The Vineyard Playhouse on the beautiful island of Martha's Vineyard is dedicated to the collaboration between professional and community theater artists. Taking full advantage of our creatively rich community and naturally inspirational surroundings, we bring artists of all backgrounds together to develop and produce classic, contemporary, and original works. For the last 26 seasons, our historic theater in the heart of downtown Vineyard Haven has been host to countless productions of plays, readings, educational series, festivals, family holiday shows, guest artists, and other special events. In addition to our main stage, the Tisbury Amphitheater overlooking beautiful Lake Tashmoo is home to our outdoor summer Shakespeare productions, children's shows and mythical adaptations.
